A great example is the collaboration between Ruger and Magpul, which combined Ruger’s trusted firearm engineering with Magpul’s cutting-edge accessory design. THE GRIP

The grip of this handgun screams Magpul and they honestly did a great job with it. As you can see, the texture is super grippy and on par with their other polymer products. It also comes with two 10-round Magpul P-Mags, but you can swap these out for traditional Glock mags if you so desire. Speaking of mags, the RXM does come with a slightly flared mag well, more so than you would get on a stock Glock. The mag release is cut out and beveled, making it very easy to reach. Additionally, the RXM has an undercut trigger guard with a high beaver tail that enables you to get a highly secure grip.

The RXM’s swappable chastity system, the RCI, makes it interchangeable between firearm frames. So, we can expect a variety of Magpul drops in various sizes, colors, and upgrades that will be compatible with this innovative system.

THE SLIDE

The RXM is essentially a Gen-3 Glock 19 clone with some really cool upgraded features. In fact, a complete Gen-3 slide is fully compatible with the RXM lower. Component-wise, the gun is field-stripped just like a standard Glock, making it even more similar.The suppressor height tritium sights come out of the box to give you an accessible co-witness with your optic choice. A truly awesome part about the RXM is that it offers a wide range of optic compatibility, such as RMR, DeltaPoint Pro, and the RMSC footprint. This is an exceptional feature that allows you to have the freedom to choose from multiple red dot options very similar to the Springfield Armory VIS System. It also boasts some solid slide serrations for those we prefer to manipulate their slide that way for racking and/or press checks. It also has a small scale gas pedal that you can rest your guide hand thumb on.

PRICE POINT

Ruger did an exceptional job at keeping this firearm priced fairly well. Its suggested retail is $499 but you can definitely find it for cheaper at various gun stores.

HOLSTERS

So of course we wouldn’t say all these nice things about the Ruger RXM if we were not going to make a holster for it.
